In an excellent position, only 70 metres from the beach, and close to all the amenities of Luz village, Casa das Redes offers 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms.  This attractive and comfortable villa has its own private walled garden, and large heated swimming pool with separate paddling pool end

A car is not necessary for a holiday at this villa, however, there is off-street parking for one car, and secondary parking in the resident access area just outside the villa gates.  With no steps between the villa, the garden, and the beachfront, this house is ideally located for those who cannot manage stairs.  One bedroom and bathroom ensuite is wheelchair accessible. 

From the roadside, a gated archway leads into the walled parking area.  From here a secure iron gate opens into the garden of Casa das Redes. 

The villa has accommodation for 10, plus a cot for a baby, arranged over 2 floors.  

The ground floor living space is open plan.  The living room is attractively and comfortably furnished with three large sofas around the fireplace.  There is satellite television, DVD player and CD player. Please bring your own CDs. DVDs can be hired locally. 

The dining table seats 10, and glazed doors lead out of the dining area to the garden and poolside.

The kitchen is fully fitted and equipped, including large size electric oven, five ring gas hob, microwave, fridge freezer and dishwasher.   

There are 2 bedrooms on the ground floor. 

Bedroom 1 is a twin bedroom with fitted wardrobe and window onto the garden.  The adjacent separate shower room has shower cubicle, basin and WC. 

Bedroom 2 has a queen size bed, fitted wardrobe, and sliding glazed doors which open onto the pool terrace.  The ensuite wet room has walk in shower with bench seat, basin and WC.  This suite has wider doorways and is designed to be wheelchair accessible.

Upstairs, there are 3 bedrooms with views onto the garden. 

Bedroom 3 is a spacious twin bedroom, with fitted wardrobe, and shower room ensuite having large size shower cubicle, basin, bidet and WC.  

Bedroom 4 has twin beds, fitted wardrobe, and bathroom ensuite with bath and overhead shower, basin, and WC. 

Bedroom 5 has a queen size bed, fitted wardrobe, sliding glazed doors to a balcony overlooking the pool, and bathroom ensuite with bath, separate shower cubicle, basin and WC. 

The washing machine is housed in the upstairs landing cupboard.

There are electric heated towel rails in the bathrooms. Firewood supply for the living room woodburner is included if required in low season lets.

The villa has gas fired central heating in the main rooms which is available for winter lets and charged at cost for gas used.

The high walled garden is well planted with colourful flowers, shrubs, palms, and lemon trees, and there is plenty of space for sunbathing.  The heated pool (9 X 5 metres approx) has built-in steps, a roll up cover, and a separate semi-circular paddling pool end.  There is an outside shower by the pool.  Pool heating is solar powered with electric heat pump back up for cloudy days, and is included in the rental price in all seasons except winter.  Winter pool heating is available on request in which case a surcharge is applicable.

In the southwest corner of the garden is the purpose built barbecue and dining area.  Facilities include a sink, fridge, pretty tile topped table, and chairs to seat 10.  Terrace lighting and underwater pool lights provide for evening entertainment . 

The villa is connected to mains water and electricity.  Gas is stored outside the garden walls and piped into the house for cooking, and to the boiler house situated in the car port for central heating in winter.  The water heating system is solar powered with electric back up   There is maid service on Saturdays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.  Bed linens are changed weekly, and household towels changed twice weekly.  Please bring your own swimming towels for the poolside and the beach.  The garden is tended weekly, and the pool is cleaned and water tested weekly (twice weekly in the hotter weather of high season as necessary).  The external laundry room is for the maids use only, whilst the washing machine in the house is solely for clients use.  The house has a safe. 

One extra child under the age of 10 can be accommodated on a folding bed at the additional charge indicated.  No more than 11 persons are ever allowed at this property.
